Testosterone for Men: What You Need to Master before Prescribing Testosterone (Part 2)
During this webinar, Dr. Rouzier will be reviewing current restrictive guidelines for prescribing testosterone and how these guidelines are just opinions and are not in agreement among different authors. He will be covering how to prescribe testosterone for off-label use. In addition, he will also discuss some of the current legal cases that deal with BHRT clinicians prescribing testosterone and how you can protect yourself and your practice.
Objectives
Upon completion of this workshop, the healthcare professional will be able to:
- Recall current guidelines and restrictions to prescribing testosterone
- Describe how to prescribe testosterone for off-label use.
- Discuss how many papers advising of restrictive guidelines are opinions of authors. Other authors have completely different opinions.
- Explain recent cases of concern to address issues BHRT clinicians must be aware of, in order to protect themselves.
